The Annual Appeal has begun and we are asking for your support of Literacy Volunteers of Greater Augusta.
For more than 35 years, Literacy Volunteers of Greater Augusta has been providing free, confidential, one-to-one tutoring services to adults in the Kennebec Valley.
We need your help now more than ever to continue our mission of improving the literacy skills of people in our community. Our services are free, but expenses for books and materials continue to increase.
Give the Gift of Reading by making your donation today. If you prefer, you can designate your United Way contribution to Literacy Volunteers of Greater Augusta or make a secure on-line donation using the Donate button on our Giving page today.
2012 Tutor Training Schedule Posted

Jenny Small has developed a yearlong plan for Tutor Training which will begin in January 2012. The schedule includes orientation events and classes for new and potential tutors and support activities for current tutors.

2nd – Board Meeting – 5:30 pm, LV-A Office
11th – Tutor Support Meeting – 10:00 – noon, LV-A Office
